How to Use It?
My Wedding Planner Worksheet is my bible for every event. I always have it on a clipboard right next to my DJ controller with a pen handy to mark things off as I go. I add new to-do items, or people’s names, as soon as I get them. It’s got all of the bridal party’s names with pronunciations for the announcements. This is NOT cheating! This is making sure you get it right the first time, because there are no do-overs!
I also use the worksheet as part of my sales cycle. When I am working on booking an event, I talk through the worksheet with the client to capture all of their needs. Then I send them a copy with the contract. This proves that I was listening to what they told me and that I want to make their event successful. I also ask them to fill in any missing information and return it to me two weeks before the event. All of this keep the process moving and gets me exactly what I need to be successful.
